Can I take the course even if I live outside the United States?
Yes! The fundamentals of emergency planning are the same everywhere. However, there are some discussions that are USA-centric, such as our unemployment benefits and government programs.

You’ll need the desire to create your own emergency financial plan to complete this course. Logistically, all of the course material is housed in a course management system (TalentLMS) and can be easily accessed by mobile device, tablet, or computer. You’ll need high-speed Internet access to load the materials. Plus, you need a Facebook account if you would like to join our private Emergency Financial Planning group.

Does the course include specific financial advice, like where to invest my savings?
Dr. Brenda is a financial coach, not an advisor. She cannot give you specific advice in terms of investment vehicles. However, she will tell you about the importance of keeping your emergency fund in a separate savings account that can be easily accessed.
