Just months ago, the future looked bright and the stock market surged to new highs. Now it feels like a distant memory. Each of us has been – or will be – touched by the coronavirus pandemic. Even if your health remains strong, your wallet may feel lighter. Unemployment. Lost wages. Closed businesses. States of emergency. Stay-at-home orders. These are the themes of 2020. Never before has there been such an urgency to get your financial life in order.
Your first tendency may be to hide under the covers until “normal” returns. But that’s not going to help the situation. So pull yourself together. Face this crisis head-on, and let me help you come up with a plan that moves you forward.
As a financial coach, my job is to help you through this crisis. And I’m dedicated to helping as many people as I can. That’s why I offer a variety of resources – many of them free.
The truth is, if you are self-motivated, you can craft your own Emergency Financial Plan for free. And here are the resources that will help you do just that.
The question is this: Will you follow through on your good intentions? Will you calculate your net worth and figure out your core budget? Will you follow through on action steps? Do you have the support you need to be successful? If the answer is NO, then let me be your trusted coach, your guide, your navigator.
When you sign up for the Emergency Financial Planning course, you get step-by-step guidance (with examples), a strong dose of motivation and encouragement, and membership in a supportive community. You will have everything you need to draft a strong plan in record time.
By the end of the course, you will:
The Emergency Financial Planning course is a self-paced interactive program that gives you the tools and guidance on creating a personal emergency plan. It includes a private Facebook group, where you can ask Dr. Brenda questions and connect with others who are in the Program. I am looking forward to meeting you!
Once you hit the “Buy Now” button, you’ll be taken to our secure checkout. After your registration is complete, you’ll be sent an email receipt. I’ll send you some “housekeeping rules” and an invitation to our private Facebook community.
Let’s work together to see you through this crisis.
I want you to be completely satisfied with your experience in the Emergency Financial Planning course. If for any reason you are not happy with the content and the impact the course has had on your financial preparedness, I will refund 100% of the course within the first 21 days. No hoops! Just send me an email at email@example.com.
Can I take the course even if I live outside the United States?
Yes! The fundamentals of emergency planning are the same everywhere. However, there are some discussions that are USA-centric, such as our retirement systems and government programs.
What do I need to participate?
You’ll need the desire to create your own emergency financial plan to complete this course. Logistically, all of the course material is housed in a course management system (TalentLMS) and can be easily accessed by mobile device, tablet, or computer. You’ll need high-speed Internet access to load the materials. Plus, you need a Facebook account if you would like to join our private Emergency Financial Planning group.
What results can I expect from the Emergency Financial Planning course?
When you successfully complete this course, you will have a plan that guides you through the immediate future. You will take steps to boost your cash reserves and feel more confident that you can get through this crisis financially. Plus, you’ll sleep better at night knowing that you have a plan.
But what if I have nothing saved and feel desperate?
Did you know that almost 70% of Americans do not have savings of at least $1,000? So you aren’t alone. But how will things change if you keep doing what you’re doing now? It won’t be easy, but if you’re willing to put in the effort and have an open mind, you might surprise yourself with how resourceful you can be. Don’t give up before you even try!
What type of technology do I need for the course?
You’ll need internet access and basic knowledge of how to download and print/save files. Many of the resources are in PDF so if you don’t already have Adobe Acrobat, you’ll be prompted to download it. If you want to join our private Facebook group, you’ll need a Facebook account.
Does the course include specific financial advice, like where to invest my savings?
Dr. Brenda is a financial coach, not an advisor. She cannot give you specific advice in terms of investment vehicles. However, she will tell you about the importance of keeping your emergency fund in a separate savings account that can be easily accessed.
What if I have questions while I’m going through the course?
If you have a question, just send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Dr. Brenda or a member of her team will respond as quickly as possible.
